A Journey into Steampunk Elegance

Our “Fantastic Spaceship” 3D Wooden Puzzle is the newest addition to our collection, offering an immersive assembly experience that combines creativity and craftsmanship.
Inspired by the Victorian era’s fascination with airships, this puzzle features a long-ship hull with four decks, three pairs of main sails, propeller engines, and a pair of flapping wing thrusters. The design also includes a small aircraft and a dual-purpose base for display options. Measuring 220×165×195 cm, it serves as a captivating centerpiece for any space.
Design Elements

Double Vertical Tail and Horizontal Tailplane : These elements pay homage to the Wright Brothers’ 1903 “Flyer,” utilizing a double vertical tail for yaw and directional control. The puzzle employs colored short-grain specialty paper to simulate canvas skin, offering translucency, stiffness, and resilience.

Decorative Patterns: To reflect the Victorian aesthetic, the ship features rounded C-shaped, S-shaped, and spiral patterns, contrasting with the mechanical elements and highlighting the historical context of “Around the World in Eighty Days.”

Gears and Steam Pipes: Embracing the steampunk style, the design incorporates hollow frame structures, exposed mechanical gears, propellers, and conduits, with partial skinning to reveal the ship’s skeleton.
A Voyage Through Time and Imagination – Perfect for Victorian Sci-Fi Enthusiasts

This fusion of 19th-century elegance and speculative engineering crafted puzzle not only provides a rewarding assembly experience but also serves as an elegant decorative piece.
NOW, bring home the golden age of exploration – every interlocking joint in these 421 precision-cut pieces tells a story. Assemble it to admire how sunlit “canvas” wings cast lace-like shadows across brass-toned gears, creating a dynamic centerpiece that sparks conversations about literature, history, and boundless creativity.
The quality of this ship is amazing. “Around the World in Eighty Days” and “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea” were gifts my cousin gave me for my 9th birthday. As I assembled this, I recalled the scenes from the books. The cuts are precise, the details are well-designed, and the assembly is not difficult. However, there are quite a few parts that need to be glued, so it requires some patience.
